                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
                  CHANGE ORDER NO. 3 (FINAL), CONTRACT NO.
                  RW-2-95, WIDENING OF GUNBARREL ROAD-PHASE III,
                  WITH MAYSE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, WHICH CHANGE
                  ORDER INCREASES THE CONTRACT AMOUNT BY TEN
                  THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED NINETY-EIGHT AND
                  14/100 DOLLARS ($10,798.14) FOR A REVISED
                  TOTAL CONTRACT PRICE OF ONE MILLION, NINE
                  HUNDRED FORTY-ONE THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED
                  NINETY-ONE AND 75/100 DOLLARS ($1,941,891.75).
                 
                 
                                                    
                 
                 
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       execution of Change Order No. 3 (Final), Contract No. RW-2-95,
       Widening of Gunbarrel Road-Phse III, with Mayse Construction
       Company, which change order increases the contract amount by
       $10,798.14, for a revised total contract price of $1,941,891.75.
